Vegfest Brighton - Food Demonstration 18th March 2012
Tropical Heaven (video)
Menu included: Vegetable Pilau, Fried Plantain, Chick Pea curry, Daahl Puri Roti, Sada Roti, Venezuelan Dessert Cake, Sorrel, Mauby.
It was a Caribbean culinary Liming experience (notorious of Trinidad and Tobago). Liming is generally known as visiting from house to house having a little bit here and there but never eating a whole meal and it is one long party. Usually till early hours of the morning. You sleep it off next day! These were the comments of the 31 people that filled the room and would not leave until 1hr and 45 mins had passed when we shared what we had and everyone had something Caribbean and foody to take home, including roti and homemade pepper sauces. It was a great day. I love Brighton (Janice Weir-Germia, Director Foodtruly Ltd) Big thank you to SALADMASTER Distributor who donated the cookware for the day.
